Keep Your Feed Clean and Safe with S’moresUp

Not every post you come across in S’moresUp may align with your preferences. Whether it’s a post you find irrelevant, distracting, or inappropriate, S’moresUp gives you the tools to take control. With options to delete your posts, report inappropriate ones, or hide posts from your view, you can ensure your feed stays positive, relevant, and engaging.

Managing Posts You Don’t Like

Here are the three ways you can handle posts you’d rather not see:

  1. Delete a Post:

    • If it’s a post you created and no longer wish to keep visible, you can delete it.
  2. Report a Post:

    • If a post is inappropriate or violates community guidelines, report it to notify the developers.
    • Once reported, the post will also be hidden from your view.
  3. Hide a Post:

    • For posts that don’t violate guidelines but don’t interest you, simply hide them.

How to Delete, Report, or Hide a Post

Here’s how you can manage posts in S’moresUp:

  1. Delete Your Own Posts:

    • Tap the dropdown chevron on your post.
    • Select Delete Post to remove it from your feed.
  2. Report a Community Post:

    • Tap the dropdown chevron on the post you wish to report.
    • Select Report Post to notify the developers.
    • The post will automatically be hidden from your view.
  3. Hide a Post (without reporting):

    • This option is built into the reporting mechanism. If you report a post, it is automatically hidden from your view, even while the developers review it.

Why Use These Options?

  1. Maintain a Positive Feed:

    • Keep your feed free from content that doesn’t align with your family’s values or needs.
  2. Promote a Safe Community:

    • Reporting inappropriate posts ensures that the S’moresUp community remains safe and welcoming for everyone.
  3. Customize Your Experience:

    • Hide or delete posts that don’t matter to you, keeping your focus on what’s important.

When to Report a Post

Report a post if it:

  • Contains inappropriate or offensive content.
  • Violates community guidelines.
  • Is spam or irrelevant to the S’moresUp community’s purpose.
